During Jan 30-31, 2018, MECC Maastricht hosted a two-day event focused on the latest technological innovations in medicine: 3D printing, robotics, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality. The event included two conferences – 3D Medical Printing Conference and Health Tech Event and an expo with innovative companies involved in the chain of Bio-, Medical-, Dental- and Medicine 3D printing. The conferences were not only academic, but innovative events bringing together brilliant minds and discoveries. It was a unique event, with 35 speakers in total [13 speakers Day 1, 23 speakers Day 2] and a lively exhibition where the attendees could see real life solutions of the technologies discussed during the conferences, as well as many other innovative technologies. SoftBank Robotics Europe, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma, Materialise, Merck Life Science, ACTA, Mobilab, UK RWTH Aachen, Maastricht University, Tilburg University, TU/e, University of Pisa, KU Leuven, TNO, Vektis, Tosoh were only a few of the companies and institutions whose representatives spoke. 2016-HTA

DSC07026The Health Tech Event – Hospital-Based HTA | Robotics & Photonics for Healthcare took place on December 08, 2016, at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

The event was successful, bringing together over 120 attendees and speakers, who joined the discussion around the main topics of the conference:

Hospital – Based Health Technology Assessment (HTA)
Robotics in Cure and Care
Using Photonics in Healthcare

Ellen Willemse from The Netherlands Study Centre for Technology Trends (STT) opened the conference with a talk on health related tech developments translated into short scenarios of the not-too-near future. Read more


2016-Cork

This year’s edition consisted of a EPIC Workshop on Photonic Systems for Life Sciences Applications. The event was hosted by The Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork.

Renowned speakers from Tyndall National Institute, EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium), Sanmina, BOSCH, Tematys, Cambridge Consultants, VTT Technical Research Centre, Fraunhofer IWS, Haute Ecole Arc Ingénierie, Avantes, XiO Photonics, iTEAM – Photonics Research Labs, Linkra, nanoplus Nanosystems and Technologies, Ocean Optics, NIBRT, TU Delft, ImPhys, Superlum Diodes, CST, NTK Photonics, Lumerical, CEA – Leti, Multiphoton Optics and Oplatek Group shared their views and opinions on photonic systems for life sciences applications. 2015

DSC_7824The fourth edition of the Health Tech Event took place on November 24th, 2015, at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, in the Netherlands.

The conference was successful, attracting over 200 international delegates and provided great intellectual and social interaction for the participants. Read more

4Y3A1987The third edition of the Health Tech Event – on December 4th 2014 at High Tech Campus Eindhoven – included:
