Brilliant business models will bring 50% of hospital treatments to home – Presented by Jeroen Kemperman, Zilveren Kruis at the Health Tech Event which takes place on 08-12-2016 at High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
With new medical and eHealth technologies diagnoses, monitoring and patient-interaction is no longer bound to physical places. This means that treatments, care and revalidation can break out of the hospital environment and be conducted on the place where this is most comfortable and healthy for the patient. This is mostly the own home and not the medical hospital environment. In this presentation it will be investigated what this can mean in field like cardiology, oncology and kidney-dialysis, how this alters the role and responsibilities of all the stakeholders and what new challenges and opportunities this gives for Health Tech.
